The film is loosely based on the 2003 video game of the same name . The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan, Gemma Arterton as Princess Tamina. Plot: Adopted from the streets of Nasaf by King Sharaman of Persia, young Dastan grows up amongst royalty and quickly earns his place as a mighty warrior and prince.
