PLOT: In Antonello Giallo’s follow up to the notorious Pleasures of the Damned, private investigator Jack Steele is hired by a mysterious treasure hunter to help find the lost treasure of Marco Polo. Along for the trip is Jack’s adopted son, Billy. Their search brings them to an island off the coast of Argentina… and into the clutches of a primitive cannibal tribe, the Yamma Yamma. Alexis Kinkaid, a mysterious recluse who has made his home on the island amongst the cannibals, may hold the key to unlocking the island’s secret… if they don’t end up in the belly of a savage first! Isle of the Damned, originally released in Italy in 1980, brought Giallo under fire yet again by the Italian government, who were outraged by the shocking and real scenes of primitive tribal rituals and cannibalism portrayed in the film. The film has been long out of print, but is presented here in a digitally remastered form.

Plot:

The story revolves around three New York police officers over one week.
Eddie is a patrolman played by Richard Gere who only has 7 days left before
he can pull the pin and retire. Eddie has seen it all, and he has become so
disenchanted with life that he must find some reason each day not to blow his
own brains out. Undercover cop Tango played by Don Cheadle has been on the
streets too long, causing him to protect Caz (Wesley Snipes) the drug kingpin
target he is out to catch. Sal (Ethan Hawke) is a narcotics cop who is under
tremendous pressure to provide a healthy home for his pregnant wife and two
children. This stress from home and the temptation of all that drug money at
his job is causing him to jump back and forth from being a good cop to a bad cop.
In the end, all three police officers will eventually come together.

PLOT: Zel is a fortune teller. She lives and works in an old house at the edge of the woods. The house is crowded with ghosts (including a priest, a bride, a mute child, some washed up vaudevillians and a noisy, sight-impaired group of musicians among others) that have been there for as long as she can remember. When a mysterious light appears in the woods the ghosts realize that they are trapped and begin to rebel. Zel is forced to come to terms with the origins of these spirits and letting go of the only family she has ever known.

Now let’s take a look at some old stuff. “Family Matters” is an American sitcom about a middle-class African American family living in Chicago. The series was spun off from “Perfect Strangers” and revolves around the Winslow family. Midway through the first season, the show introduced the Winslows’ nerdy neighbor Steve Urkel (played by Jaleel White), who quickly became its breakout character and eventually a main character. The other day FFNDVD released the DVDRip PACK of the first season, 22 episodes are included, check it out!

“Family Matters” focused on Harriet Winslow (the elevator operator from the Chronicle) and her family of sorts. Carl Winslow, her husband, was a dutiful cop, and a gruff and lovable father to three kids: Eddie Winslow, the rebel son; Laura Winslow, the… More smart-aleck daughter; and cute little Judy Winslow. They had opened their home to Harriet’s sister, Rachel Crawford and her little baby son Richie, and in the very first episode, Carl had to open his home to his cool and streetwise mother, Estelle Winslow, whether he wanted to or not. Everything was going along just fine until one day, Steve Urkel, the inventive nerd, barged into their home and eventually, into their hearts. Steve had a killer crush on Laura, but she would never give him the time of day. Steve Urkel was intended to be a one-shot appearance, but his popularity with the fans won him the number-one spot as America’s favorite nerd. As the show went on, the characters and the stories evolved.
