The Boondocks: the complete second season tracks the adventures of two boys, Riley and Huey Freeman, who experience a culture clash when they move from Southside Chicago to the suburbs to live with their irascible grandfather. Huey, a 10-year-old left wing revolutionary, is determined not to enjoy the affluence of suburbia. This attitude is seconded by his 8-year-old brother, Riley, a proud product of contemporary rap culture. Although they torture each other and provoke the neighborhood, the two aren’t any match for Granddad, who is eccentric even by “crazy-ass-old-black-man” standards.

This season of The Boondocks finds Granddad sneaking the boys into the movies because he’s cheap; Riley and Granddad refusing to talk with cops about two local thieves, even after Granddad’s car is stolen; Sarah’s obsession with Usher, who’s threatening her relationship with Tom; Stinkmeaner’s spirit possessing Tom as he tries to get revenge on Granddad; Riley joining the basketball team; and the boys fighting over who will be the boss while Granddad is on vacation.

Here is one of my favorite adult cartoons shows with South Park and American Dad. It is the complete first season of “The Boondocks”. The Boondocks is a Peabody Award-winning, American animated series created by Aaron McGruder for the [adult swim] programming block of Turner Broadcasting’s Cartoon Network, based upon McGruder’s comic strip of the same name. The Boondocks is a social satire of American culture and race relations (or stereotypes in the world), revolving around the lives of the Freeman family: ten-year-old Huey, his younger brother, eight-year-old Riley, and their grandfather, Robert. The complete first season contains 15 episodes and bleep free . enjoy!

Based on the syndicated comic strip of Aaron MacGruder, one of only a few African American cartoonists and arguably the most successful, this animated show appeared on the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. MacGruder satirizes race relations and contemporary culture in a dry, cynical way that pulls no punches, and generates a great deal of controversy along the way. The show follows protagonist Huey, a 10-year-old revolutionary-in-training, and Riley, his 8-year-old brother and future gangsta. The boys have been moved from their home on Chicago’s South Side to the suburban “boondocks” to live with their grandfather, where they get into trouble and comment freely upon the idiosyncracies–to put it mildly–of the white people in whose culture they are now immersed.
